As a photographer based in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Pensacola Dauphin Island & surrounding areas I’ve been serving my clients through beautiful portraiture for over ten years now and it’s about time I start my blog for the area I’ve been based in for the past five years! I’m so excited to post a little introduction to my work and to build onto the platform I’ve already created for sharing my love of people and portraiture with the world, or at least with the south 😉

I love to share with all of my clients that all of my photo sessions are going to be a lot of fun. We’ll be playing games, giggling and giving hugs and tickles the whole time – even the guys leave having made new memories and loving the time they spent getting their photos taken (I know, this is a rarity!) Because I believe in having it all and don’t like the idea of my clients having to choose between having the “traditional” photos where everyone is looking and smiling or the sweet ones where their kiddos are laughing and being thrown into the air or playing ring-around-the-rosie, I provide my clients with BOTH a great mix of beautifully posed photos and sweet candids as well.

What does a typical session look like? This completely depends on whether you have booked for an extended family session, regular session, mini, couple session, senior session or maternity session but every experience is guaranteed to be a great one where new memories are made and you walk away having made new, fun memories! We’ll typically start off in the sea oats capturing an array of photos in the grassy backdrop and then move towards the water towards the second half/end of your session. How wet you get (just the toes..ooor carrying your girl into the deep end!!) is entirely up to you and we’ll savor each and every moment I guide you into so that you don’t have to worry about what to do and you can just focus on having a good time and following gentle posing prompts.
